Doriana's vanishing ruby: a gem that disappeared nightly and reappeared (roughly hourly) hidden inside one of the cursed child Doriana's plushies. The party brought it to the psychic Rin, whose overnight occult investigation revealed it was a dream conduit built by the denizen of Leng Yasonkler to prey on Doriana (a Locate-spell variation paired with a reversed ruby in his lair). Attuning to it unlocked a once-per-day ability to spend 10 minutes on the ruby to cast 5th-level Locate keyed to Yasonkler, which the party used to track him into the vaults (S54). The party left it with the Otari NPCs to watch over; once Doriana was healed and freed of the denizen, the watched ruby transformed into a Wand of Locate, which Menhem then gave to the party (S56).
