[S54] A denizen of Leng (a 'motley man' in robes) who preyed on the cursed child Doriana through a dream-conduit ruby hidden in her plushies, intending to draw her wholly into the dimension of dreams. The party divined his name and lair via an occult ritual on the ruby (with the psychic Rin), tracked him with a 5th-level Locate, sneaked past the prison vault's witchfire, and burst into his black-stone candlelit chamber. He commands animated crawling severed hands (one from a missing mute prisoner) which are voodoo-like manifestations of his living victims that grow to resemble their target as the curse worsens. Venris's Organ Sight revealed he has no lungs and does not breathe. [S55] He faked a surrender then acted; the party finished him off (Venris cut him in half) and he crumbled to dust. His lair held a shrine to a teenage girl and a wall of 12+ severed-hand trophies; Identify confirmed Doriana's affliction was an Outcast Curse variant. Defeated.
