[S56] An immensely powerful undead in cursed 'giga' armor, far above the party's level, recall-knowledge'd as a grave knight of Nimbaloth and likely the unseen enemy who earlier trashed a secret room hunting Madvian's/Zarmavdian's journal. It descended on the party in the deep vaults dragging a greatsword; it grabbed Veve by the hair (ripping a clump out, leaving a lasting cold/bludgeoning mark) and blasted cold air. The party fled via the dungeon's teleportation circles, floor-hopping to the surface; the knight could not follow without the activation spell. Rin urgently warned them never to fight it ('you will die'). [S57] Confirmed unholy/anti-divine: it projects a sacrilegious aura that suppresses holy magic, but is greatly harmed by holy damage once that aura is breached; it is created through and bound to its armor, so stripping the armor is a possible avenue. The party bought potions of emergency escape and resistance gear against it. [S58] Still actively hunting the party through the vaults ('Mr. Skeleton Hands'); it can apparently track their position and may be able to use the portal rooms. Abbas learned a grave knight's cursed armor transforms any wearer into a grave knight. [from S60] The party calls the giant armored hunter the 'Dead Knight' (ASR 'Kalido'/'Kalito'); Cinemy/Snemi confirms she has seen him and always fled rather than risk getting close. A creepy higher-up tied to the contracted devil below. [S63] After the water fight, Venris scouted a ceiling double-door that appeared to connect back toward the grave knight's known room, and Abbas cast Augury about encountering Khalido/Kalido Harvex before the group chose to return to town. In [S64], the party avoids the grave knight's metal footsteps near the library route, researches grave-knight traits at the Dawnflower Church/Library, and later sees fresh signs that it has been near the warded-door path.
