The lens (and its lattice/mount housing) at the top of the Gauntlight lighthouse. On returning, the party confirmed both the lens and its lattice are gone, leaving only the mount (S57). In S58, Abbas pieced together from Volok's and Belcorra's notes that the Gauntlight beam is built around lenses held in a lattice (a metal framework/'skeleton' of glass with a fulcrum); blueprints show slots for four lenses, and a note says Volok 'recovered them' and would 'keep them safe.' The party is unsure whether the lattice is carried physically or teleported/reflected up to the cupola. They suspect the recovered Lantern of Empty Light, and possibly the 'Shiny'/spyglass from Mr. Beak, were failed lens experiments.

The lattice is a metal framework/'skeleton' that holds multiple lenses (blueprints show slots for four), arranged to focus and channel the pale-blue energy beam down/through the tower. A 'fulcrum' is referenced alongside them. The party is unsure whether… [S58 · 01:29:28 · turn 0758]

Relationships
Volok — his research built the lenses; a note says he recovered them and would keep them safe
Belcorra — wanted to tear the lattice down and build one that obeys, to make Gauntlight 'a sword'
