Plume of Otari

Current state

A massive log-flume contraption (a 'water slide for logs', also called the giant's wheel) to the east/northeast of Otari, invented by an ancestor of the current mayor; it floats lumber from deep in the forest down to the mill and dock and revived the town's economy, with lumbering companies renting its use [S8]. Described as the lifeblood of the town, where the mayor sometimes works [S20]. During the crisis it suffers fires and strange happenings the townsfolk want patrolled [S14].

Recent appearances

• S33 Otari's log-flume (built by McLani), this session damaged by fire — a dozen logs spilled and crashed when a section was ruined, the water has been dammed, and the flume is shut down for repairs/cleanup.
