Venris's mechanical arm ('Money') is a magical clockwork prosthesis that replaced the hand and forearm Venris lost to the rot, acquired on layaway in Absalom and the main purpose of the trip there [S35]. Nicknamed 'Money', the arm can embed a one-handed weapon within it; Venris initially embedded his Kukri, and he uses the arm's dexterity to impress contacts [S35]. As a free action (3-command sequence) it engulfs a one-handed weapon and transforms into a ghost-touch slicing blade, and can revert to a hand; it also grants Venris the ability to sense ghosts and haunts [S36]. In combat it most often takes the form of a ghost-touch striking blade — mechanically a rapier, used with sneak attack and flanking — and the wound where the metal meets flesh is tied to Venris's Empty Death affliction [S40].
The arm has seen wear and repair. It is item level 6, standard-grade silver (hardness 7, 28 HP, broken threshold 14). After breaking in the field, a mending scroll and Crafting attempts failed — level-1 mending cannot fix a magic item — and it was fully restored by Carman Rajani in Otari [S47]. A layaway payment of 167.5 gp (the first half of the 335 gp total cost) was made during S46. The arm has been ruled to function like 'auto mail': permanently fused at the connection point and not subject to casual removal or disarm [S51].
As of S59, the arm proved decisive against the Barbazu Corloc, whose resistances meant only the arm's silver-blade form landed reliable strikes, underscoring it as the centrepiece of Venris's lost-hand arc.
S59 Venris's prosthetic clockwork arm, which can transform its end into a silver blade. Decisive against Corloc this session, as the Barbazu's resistance meant only silver strikes reliably cut him down. Continuation of Venris's lost-hand/clockwork-arm arc. [S59 · 03:39:06 · turn 1943]

S43 Venris's prosthetic clockwork/metal arm (the payoff of his lost-hand arc). He uses it to touch suspicious objects first, and it can freely transform into his Ghost Touch blade as part of an attack. Cited support for matching this PC to canon pc-venris's clockwork-arm arc.
