A shadow-spawn created when the steel-shadow pulled a PC's own shadow free; it acts as an enemy under the shadow's command. The GM read out the rule that if the creature it was pulled from dies the spawn becomes a full autonomous shadow; it was disintegrated/dealt with in the opening fight.
