A Barbazu (bearded devil) acting as the 'captain' of a squad of exploding groffleets on the lower vault floor; described as the guard who was fired and didn't want to be there. Assessed at roughly 5th level, fire-immune, glaive-wielding, carrying Avernal Fever; his glaive inflicts Infernal Wound persistent bleed and Forceful repositioning. Killed by Venris's silver blade. His body yielded magical gloves (a Drover's Band) and a mundane glaive.
