A humanoid-shaped creature composed of countless eye-leeches/worms that scatter and reform to dodge attacks, negating precision damage and many strikes. It reads and speaks the Sackroth language and casts spells (a paralyzing fireball-like burst, a blood-draining leech swarm, Darkness, Phantom Pain, Mirror Image, Shield, mist/poison clouds, a worms-in-flesh spell, and Suggestion), clearly higher level than the party. In S22 it was studying images of 'the Gauntlight' and serving a 'queen' whose plans near fruition, knowing the party would come. In S23 the party fought it to a finish; it taunted them about a 'master'/'mistress' (Belcorra/'her') and the graveyard built on Otari. The GM's name spelling was inconsistent ('Sedolfus'/'Cidolfus') and collides with the PC nickname 'Cid,' so the exact name is low confidence. [S26] In Lazda's rescue account this creature is named 'Volo the Leech Man' — the underground caster who experimented on the captive dwarf, listed apart from Vaughrrest (the chained blue-skinned woman) and the void creature; this is NOT the drow Vollok (whose own larva/worm form is his shapestone transformation).
