A medium blood-draining monster in the basement that ambushed Cid, restrained him, and drained his blood (4d4) to dying 3; the party could not find it in standard references. It has a slashing weakness and was killed when Veve telekinetically hurled Cid's slashing Malunar rapier through its throat, bursting its body in a 4d6 blood cloud (S9).
