Small devils serving as Corloc's squad (about six). They spew acid (splash) and self-detonate on death, with chain explosions a real hazard; immune to acid themselves. Not undead. The party deliberately spaced kills to avoid being caught in the blasts (and joked when one exploded out of range). An earlier brigade of them was seen being drilled/trained by a Barbazu (bearded devil) near a shimmering orange wall in the Gauntlight depths; the party sneaked past that group rather than engage (S54).
