First encountered searching the dungeon for a werewolf (named Jal/Jow), with members Jasper and Rogan appearing; they belittled the party (especially Veve) but were diverted by an illusory werewolf decoy [S13]. The party tricked them into going deeper into the Gauntlight, where they were turned into ghouls and killed by the party [S14]. Their deaths were later reported to the merchant Clean-O [S15].
